No widgets showing

Hi! I’m working on a website. I’m reading the instructions over at the paid Fudge theme (https://www.showthemes.com/docs/fudge/documentation-and-theme-guide/#3.2). But nothing is happening for me. My settings are set to show “your latest posts” on the homepage. Nothing shows up. Help?
