    What plugins are you using?

    Definitely plugin related. not multisite.

    literally all plugins. in Network Admin, all plugins are disabled… I suspect some crap ass plugin left something in the db after being disabled….

    in Network Admin, all plugins are disabled…

    But what about plugins enabled on a per site basis? If any?

    Plugin “BlogTopics” disabled and all is back to normal – thanks, that was a “per site” enabled plugin! O my Gosh…
