    Hi All,

I’ve recently done an upgrade from 2.something through to 2.6.5. Currently however I go to the design/widgets page and I get “No matching widgets” no matter which theme I chose or what I seem to do.

I can only think this may be a data problem with the database or some other issue and started hunting through things to figure out why it’s not returning well… anything. Was hoping someone may have also had this issue or may know where to go looking straight up so I can cut to the chase quicker…

a little annoying really as I wan’t to update my site

    Cheers
    Craig

  • If you’ve got the old Sidebar Widgets plugin installed, you should deactivate that, then delete the related files in your wp-content/plugins folder.

yeah no joy. I didn’t have the plugin installed anyway.

I’ve tried the whole “save changes” thing that seems to work for others as well :/

    bummer…

Upgrading to 2.7 seems to have resolved the problem. Perhaps the 2.6.5 upgrade didn’t go through cleanly

    Thanks for your response though!
