No Widget Option In Appearance

  • Hi I am setting up a new wordpress site, moving my weebly over to it. I am busy working with your free theme, but want to install my footer, but all the guides online say go to ‘appearance’ and in the dropdown should be widget, but I can’t find that at all, on this theme. I have everything working pretty well so far…so don’t want to revert to another theme already.

    Thanks for using Chosen!

    The Chosen theme doesn’t include a widget area in the footer although this is available in Chosen Pro.

    What kind of content are you looking to add to the bottom of your site?

    Hi Ben, I would just like a footer, but can’t see how to get a footer? Are you saying no footer is available at all?

    I want to add ‘recent posts’ contact details etc…

    Yes, I’m afraid the Chosen theme does not have a footer widget area to add recent posts and other widgets.
