No widget in a specific page

You could create a custom page template that didn’t call the sidebar or called its own custom sidebar. Or you could have a look at the Widget Logic plugin.

You apply the new template to your photos page.

See the Page template dropdown in Edit Page. This dropdown will not appear until you have at least 1 custom page template file in your theme.
