    Hi

    I use the shortpixel plugin that generates webp fomats, but the images aren’t display in that format in the slide, what can be done to fix that ?

    Hi @freddyee

    Please note that we don’t have a control over the way image optimizer plugins work. But what I see on your site is that, your slide background images have this class on them:

    • sp-no-webp

    which probably indicates that Shortpixel didn’t optimize those images for some reason.
    To find out why, you should get in touch with the developers of Shortpixel as they know their plugin better.

    As a tip, you should probably check if the Slide background images that you display in the slider were actually optimized in your Media Library or not. If they weren’t, then you should probably press the “Optimize Now” button in the “ShortPixel Compression” column.

    In the Pro version we also have a feature to convert your slide background images into WebP format. If you are interested in that, then please get in touch with us over the ticket system:
