New version caused havoc. I restored my legacy settings but still, it doesn’t work well. In old version, each setting could be separately enabled and that mean that other plugis treated each setting differently. This way I could set different payment methods for each shipping setting. Now I can’t. This forces me to abandon this plugin, because it was crucial part of my shipping and payment methods (some shipping methods had limited ways of payments).

In a way, I can deactivate each shipping method but that’s not the same! Now shipping is defined generally for the whole plugin and that is not acceptable.

I rolled back to the old version and restored shop functioning. I won’t upgrade if shipping settings won’t be made separate again.

There is a way to do it with Conditional Shipping and Payments from Woothemes. Generally, any similar plugin which is properly supporting shipping zones should provide a way to do that.

I use a great plugin (Conditional Payment Methods for Shipping) that just provides with a table where you can match each shipping method with a payment. This is done easily and quickly. Old version of yoru plugin was working with it perfectly. After update all shipping methods clunked to one “weight based shipping” which is pointless.
I’m not a fan of woo extentions. They are overpised and I don’t like how they work. Usually one can get way better plugins for a lesser price elsewhere.

I guess, although I loved your plugin, I can’t use it anymore in newer version. Flexible shipping from WP desk should work perfectly with the extention I mentioned above (since it’s made by the same company), but somehow it doesn’t. Been waiting for their support response. There is a chance they will improve their Active Payment plugin to work with yours, providing it’s possible. Will see how the situation unravels.

In general, I liked how new version was working, if not the lack of compatibility with this payment module, which is essential to me. However lately they also changed the plugin and it’s not longer so simple and obvious. I guess it’s due to the woocoomerce changes.

I will intendt to play with it and see if maybe I can somehow make your plugin work with it. But for that I need to set some additional server for testing and that will take some time.

As of Conditional Payment Methods for Shipping, according to the screenshot from its website, it looks like the plugin supports shipping zones too. So you can create separate shipping methods backed by Weight Based Shipping in shipping zones and they will appear in Conditional Payment Methods for Shipping.

I got the answer from WP Desk support and they claim You introduced some non-standard functions in new version of your plugin. Since Conditional Active Payments use standard WP and woocommerce guidlines, your new version of plugin won’t play nice with others. Old one works well.

I did add WBS to my shipping zone and it didn’t help. Basically, I saw only WBS as WBS (one option) and not singular settings there. Maybe I missed something? I don’t know. I won’t test it on a live shop anyway.

Look, Conditional Payment Methods for Shipping can only see shipping methods under shipping zones, and cannot see WBS rules, obviously.

Just create a few shipping methods backed by WBS under some shipping zone and the Conditional plugin should show them in its settings.

You can, for example, create a shipping method per each rule you have, i.e. every shipping method would have a single rule inside.

    Does that makes sense?

As of the non-standard functions, I’m not sure what they are talking about. It would be great if you/they provide some details on that.
