No way to create static Home Page

  • I have activated the Sinatra Theme. Now when I go to “Settings -> Reading” in the Dashboard, the section “Front Page Displays” with the options of “Your latest posts” or “A static page (Select below)” is missing.
    How do I set my home page now to a static page called… Home?

    In your admin section go to Appearance and click on customize.
    When that loads on left side you will see options go to Homepage Settings.
    That is where you can set as latest posts or static page.

    It showed up where I expected in the original description.
    I just had to publish the page first for the HomePage option to show up in Settings -> Reading. I also published a second page to designate for posts in the same settings area.
