I am creating a new site. It’s not live yet. I’ve activated the account with the key code given. However, there does not seem to be any way to actually create a newsletter. Is this correct that I have to pay in order to be able to create a newsletter? There’s no “newsletter” option that the instructions said would be there. The instructions here: https://www.letsbuildawebsite.com.au/set-mailpoet-wordpress/ say a link reading as “Newsletter” will appear after you activate the account. There’s nothing there. How can you create a newsletter if there is no option to do it? Can anyone please respond? I also keep getting all kinds of weird server error messages showing the number 0.

I am using Divi, ClassicPress (the fork of WordPress 4.9) and have a modern, very large hosting provider. I have not updated to WP 5.0. In theory, Mailpoet should work but it is not possible to create a newsletter if there is no option to start and the Mailpoet newsletter only shows account information.

  • Hi David,

This article has instructions for MailPoet 2, not MailPoet 3.

In MailPoet 3, you should be able to create a newsletter in the free version by going to MailPoet > Emails > Add New button on the top, next to “Emails”.

Can you tell us what error messages you’re seeing?

    Thanks!
