No warning still unsecure

  • I did a scan with Wordfence and all is safe. However Google tells me something different. It appears that I am not as secure as I like to be.

    It gives me this link https://www.mydomain.com/navyfederal.org/g.nav/page/,-,

    If you go there in Chrome you get a warning stating:

    Deceptive site ahead

    Attackers on https://www.mydomain.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).

    I don’t understand where this url comes from. I am not using suchs an url anywhere as far as I know. If you ignore the warning you are forwarded to the 404 page of my site.

    Even Kaspersky gives me a warning. But WordFence isn’t detecting anything.

  • The issue may be occurring on the server and not specifically at your site directly (so WF wouldn’t see the issue)….

    You should contact your web host for them to check the server.

    NOTE: I’m only an long-time WF user, and not part of WF support.

    I now replaced WordPress, the theme, Askimet and done a scan with Kaspersky for the uploads folder. Scanned with WordFence and online with Securi and a bunch of other scan sites.

    Kaspersky no longer gives me a warning but Firefox and Chrome still do. This MIGHT be due to the fact that Google still has it “registered” as a phising site. So I now asked for a new review.

    However I will also sak my host to do a check of the server. Good idea bluebearmedia
