• This plugin is not plug-and-play. More like a fancy back-end for style edits, but doesn’t help with building the initial FAQ. Support link to “documentation” simply goes to a support message form. Youtube tutorials are too specific and do not address any kind of beginner walkthrough.

    Hi Coleman,

Sorry that you had trouble getting the plugin set up. When you first activate it, it is supposed to automatically run a walk-through that helps you create your first FAQ, FAQ categories and FAQ page, as well as set some key options. If, for some reason, that didn’t run, or you need to run it again, you can do so at any time, at the following admin URL: admin.php?page=ewd-ufaq-getting-started

So, let’s say, for example, your website URL is https://www.my-great-site.com/

Then, the URL to re-run the walk-through would be: https://www.my-great-site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ewd-ufaq-getting-started

Beyond that, the FAQs are set up like a post type, so that creating them should be familiar, in that it is the exact same process as creating a regular new post on your WordPress site.

And, if you wanted to add the FAQs to a page, you can use either the [ultimate-faqs] shortcode or the “Display FAQs” Gutenberg block.

And, if you have any specific questions about features or setting it up, just let me know and I can help.

    Thanks!
