no voting button showing up on mobile and computer

    The polls (3) tested well and I made some edits and reset. Went to retest on 3 different phone device, laptop, and computer. My computer went through for polls 2 & 3 but wouldn’t allow me to vote on poll 1. On all 3 mobile device and laptop we didn’t get the option to vote. On the laptop, you can select change vote and it will allow the vote to go through.

    We have a speaking engagement later this week where we want to use the interactive polls. Immediate assistance is appreciated.

    I wondering if it’s not working properly because I have already voted from the four devices that I’m testing with, even though I reset the poll. Now, after I reset and go to vote, I have to click change vote first, then it allows me to vote. Does reset not remove the previous voting ip addresses? if so where do I clear that?
    I’m testing later on another mobile device that hasn’t voted yet to see if my theory is correct and the user is allowed to vote. I’ll let you know if that works properly.

    I did see on my son’s mobile device (first time voting) it didn’t give him the choice to vote, only to change the vote and he had never voted before. The first poll, quickly tried to open opinion website then flashed back to coreevents.com. I saw this before. Should this be occuring?

    Hi Tammy,
    When you vote we signal the you voted in the cookie, to prevent multiple voting, so indeed when you reset the poll, the cookies are still there preventing you from voting.
    What I suggest is that if this issue bothers you, that you just duplicate the poll, in that case the votes are zero’ed.
