When I access a jitsi call from a BuddyPress group the user’s WordPress name is shown in the call, however when I use the shortcode on a non-buddypress page the username is not passed through.

  • Hi,

you can set the user and their avatar by setting the following settings in the shortcode:

    user: The user to display
avatar: The url with the avatar to display

    Thanks,
    Themis

    Thanks,

Sorry, I assumed that buddymeet would be default use the users avatar and username from WordPress when using the shortcode, the same way it does for group enabled buddymeet rooms.

I will do some digging to see how I can get the user’s name and avatar link values into a shortcode.

    Hi,

please update to the just released version (1.7.0).

    Thanks,
    Themis
