• Hi,

I want to activate the No-User Bookings option and not require registration.
I followed the instructions in the documentation (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/no-user-bookings/) :
Events > Settings > Booking Options tab, set Enable No-User Booking Mode? to yes.
I also have the option activated:
Events > Settings > Bookings > General Options > Allow guest bookings = Yes
But the registration form is always shown in Events with booking.
Is this a plugin bug or is there something I need to take into account?

  • Set “Allow Guest Booking” to “No” and then you will not see the registration form.

    Hi,

If I set “Allow Guest Booking” to “No” the registration form is not displayed, but this message appears:
“You must log in or register to make a reservation.” and there is no Send button.

I am having the same issue on our site and would welcome any suggestions for resolution
One related issue is the checkbox regarding the privacy policy acceptance . Is there a way to make this mandatory to check before a booking can be submitted? People not checking it seems to create some issues with tracking payments for bookings

I got no-user booking to work. Here are the settings in the Bookings tab:

In General Options: Allow Guest Bookings = Yes

In Booking Form Options: Display Login Form = No

In No User Booking Mode: Enable No-User Booking Mode = Yes

It would not let me submit the booking if I didn’t put a check in the “Consent” box.

    Hi joneiseman,

If I configure the options you sent me, the registration form still appears:

In General Options: Allow Guest Bookings = Yes

In Booking Form Options: Display Login Form = No

In No User Booking Mode: Enable No-User Booking Mode = Yes

You can see the result of this configuration in this link: https://voluntaris.cat/events/marqueting-per-a-entitats-socials-2h/

If I set “Allow Guest Booking” to “No” the registration form is not displayed, but this message appears:
“You must log in or register to make a booking.”, and there is no submit button or “Consent” box to check.

    Thanks.

I think the “No-User Booking mode” is working as expected. In no-user mode no new user account is created but it will still have a registration form for gathering the information on the person who is registering. The information is stored with the booking instead of in a new user account.

Ok, now I understand… The “No-User Booking mode” option only changes the way the registering user information is saved (the information is stored with the booking instead of in a new user account).

I was expecting that by activating this option, there wouldn’t be a need to register a user in any way, and only the Attendee forms would be registered. Is this not possible?

When you refer to Attendee forms I presume you mean the custom booking forms which is a part of Events Manager Pro. I don’t have access to the Pro version.

Events Manager needs some way to associate the booking with a person and if there’s no user information provided then this can’t be done.
