No update of the custom field (points)

sports type?

actually tennis, but as I wrote it seems as if it doesn’t matter.
I tested various combinations of sports types and rules. Some even killed my scores but non of them changed the points.
Even with customer defined rules there is no success.
Strange!

Unfortunately no changes with 4.0.4
The db “custom” field is not updating at all! It’s content doesn’t change.

Update of what I figured out:

I realised that the points in the standings table are calculated correctly.
But what’s no longer working is that apperatus point thing, that – due to my bad english, sorry – maybe I don’t understand.
These points were saved in the custom field and I showed them in my match template. Winner 2 points, looser zero…
Since the last update there is as said before no change of this db field. Maybe it has to do with automatic score calculation that is mentioned in another thread.
So maybe it is a PEBKAC thing and after all, I dont need to display the points in the mach template, as long as the standings table is correct.

Sorry, I am confused. You are using tennis as sport type? But now you are talking about apparatus points, which would be gymnastics? Please post a screenshot of what you are trying to do

It is a PEBKAC! Could it be that I had a wrong setting before and that made me think of counting points but it was AP instead… OMG

PEBKAC? In the league settings page there is a dropdown for sport type. What did you select there. And please post a screenshot with the match score problem you are having

Obviously I had a wrong setup previously and after the update I eventually set the match type correctly but without adapting the standings table (I am using an individual template). So that brought out my mistake!
After reconfiguring everything now with correct settings everything works fine!
