    Hello,

    I got the event feed to work perfectly using an access token for a page that I am an admin of, but now suddenly all of the events are gone and it reads ‘No Upcoming Events’. Any idea what’s happening?

    Hi Mary,

    Are you using an Access Token from your own Facebook app? In order to display events you’d need to use a Page Access Token from your own Facebook app by following these directions. It’s not possible to use a Page Token retrieved through our plugin, or anywhere else, to display events right now. Facebook hasn’t reopened access to public events yet and so the only way to display them is by using an Access Token from your own Facebook app which will then allow you to display events from a Facebook page which you manage.

    You can use the token from our plugin to display any other post type – just not events. So you could retrieve a token from your own Facebook app and then add it into your events shortcode like so: [custom-facebook-feed type=events accesstoken=YOUR_OWN_TOKEN]

    Let me know whether that makes sense, or if you have any further questions at all, and apologies for any confusion.

    Hi John,

    I had followed those instructions and am using an Access Token from my own Facebook app. As I said I was able to get it working perfectly, events were loading and everything was being displayed as I had configured it. But suddenly when I checked back on the site this morning, this error occurred.

    I just tried the shortcode you suggested, but no luck. Any other ideas?

    Hey Mary,

    That’s strange, I’m sorry for the issue. I’m going to need to take a closer look at this and see your current System Info so could you submit a support ticket here and include both a link and your System Info from the plugin? Please also reference this thread and mention that the ticket is for John, that way it’ll be assigned to me to look at.
