No Trailing slash on breadcumbs

Hello…I am having limited success researching and solving an issue with this plugin. I can find some evidence of other people not getting the trailing slash on their “home” breadcrumb, but I cannot find any solutions.

So:

1. How do I force a trailing slash on the breadcrumb for the home page.
2. How do I make the breadcrumb for the homepage something custom, such as “this site Home”
