No tooltips on images using NiceTitles

  • I’ve tried contacting the author at his own site, but he’s not answering. Maybe someone here has some experience with this.

    I’m using the nicetitles javascript on https://familywebwatch.com/blog/

    The tooltips pop-up great when rolling over links, but they’re not showing up for images (of which I’ve tried alt and title attributes), nor do they show up for acronym tags.

    Anybody know of a fix?

  • According to https://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/nicetitle/ all you need is a link with a title atribute. Both there and binarybonsai.com, where I first saw nicetitles with wordspress, images have no nicetitle popups. Good luck…

    Yes, that’s what I saw, too. But is the reason it’s not showing up for images or acronyms due to someone turning off something or is it outside the confines of what this script is supposed to do?

    If it’s the latter, then methinks I’ll go back to the FancyTooltilps plug-in. It’s a little slower to pop-up, but at least visitors to my blog can see consistency when rolling over links AND acronyms, which I plan on using a lot of.

    Anyone else?
