No title shown in event

Are you talking about a different title?

I have more or less the same. ‘Geen titel’ is showing at the top of my calendar but I can’t find the right place to change this text or even better, delete this.

This is due to the way the your theme handles page/post titles.

You can try changing default template under Events → Settings → Display. If that doesn’t help, you’ll have to look into updating your page.php template or creating a custom one for The Events Calendar.

As an alternative, you can use a different theme.
