No title or description in receipt, just a random order number

    Hello.

    I am using WooCommerce with Stripe payments,, I have already spoken with them and they say it’s to do with the WC end,, so if anyone knows how I can get a product title or description to show up in the receipt I would be really appreciated,,, at the moment it’s just a random order number, we have no idea what product tit relates to?

    The customer receives an email with the product title in the product field but it doesn’t show it in Stripe or any other product description details,, see image below.

    Hey there!

    The plugin doesn’t send individual items to stripe, it submits the order total for the order and processes payments for the order that way. It doesn’t see the items, only orders.

    Sorry, not sure I understand “it submits the order total for the order”, do you mean the price of the product?

    Hi @carterkay,

    Yes! In the screenshot you sent, it’s only one product, so it submits the price of the product.

    However, if more products were added, it would submit the total amount and not single product prices or descriptions.
