    @hennerb – Have you tried clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous? You might need to also use the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options as well.

    Hi,
    clearing the image cache made things worse: Now all the thumbnails are gone!
    What can I do now to get at least the old thumbnails back?

    No, because I wasn’t sure where this option is. Is it the last one under Other Options? Because I didn’t configure the plugin I am afraid, that afterwards some settings are lost and I have other problems. Can I generate a backup befor I push the reset-button?

    Now I did reset all options (with the button in the last area of Other Options). But unfortunately there are still no thumbnails shown, not even the old ones, which were fine before I cleared the cache.

    @hennerb – Are you using any database optimization / cleaning plugins? Sometimes these can be set too aggressively and you will actually need to restore the database from a backup to resolve the issue.

    I’m having the same issue. I am not using any database optimization / cleaning plugins.

    I don’t use database optimization plugins either.

    I uninstalled pro and reinstalled the newest version and it seems to be working
