No theme whatsoever

Hi all,

I just got started with wordpress and I have no idea about php, html or anything realted for that matter, so be gentle please.

My hosting providers offers WordPress as an Application to install right within the hosting web interface. I proceeded to install it and it was easy enough and it led to no warnings or errors. However, when I check the site, it has only plain words without formating, like there was no Theme at all.

I deleted the whole thing and the directory was clear and the MySQL is gone. I have no idea about php but I’m able to follow instructions, so I proceed to download the WordPress package directly from the web and I followed the instructions. I let the installation wizard set up the connection with the MySQL database I created. So far works ok and there are no errors nor warnings. However, when I get to see the page, I got the very same as before.

I checked online for solutions but to no relief. Emptying the cache doesn’t work, I checked the links and nothing, and so on.

I emailed the guys on the hosting service, but they must be out of office today.
