No Thanks, and Screen redraw is garbage

  • Hi, I’m running WordPress 3.1.2, wp-survey Version 2.6.28, and PHP 5.2.12.

    I got everything working fine..eventually, and I’m really happy with the HTML integrtion (even though you can’t use it before the first few words as they seem to be used for the table heading – pity, cos I wanted to have “Question 1” in BOLD, but never mind)

    But…heree’s the thing!

    I have a problem when hitting SUBMIT, the page tried to redraw, and even the WP theme is distorted, and most of the page information is missing. I don’t get any Confirmation message, or error message at all. The data is saved though, and I can access that no problem, its just that the user experience is a bit lacking. I have not used Custom responses and the current Thank you looks like this

    But its not seen at the end of the survey.

    Maybe the theme is messing things up? I dunno.

    Unfortunately questions that contain html have never performed well and also long questions, as the question is used it part as the field name for the answers in the table and the csv output. We do remove the html and truncate the field but this does not always work.
    It also seem that the questions are causing problems with the diag export too. So we cannot look into the problem on our dev system.

    Please check that the simple default survey works, to make sure that it is not something else.
    But it does seem that the questions are too complicated.

    Hehe, My “complicated survey” is working rather well (apart from the lack of “Thank You” page.

    I’ve just tested the default survey on another page, and the same thing happens.

    Do you think its the theme that’s causing the problem?

    BTW, the data in the .CSV file was a bit all over the place too”
