Could you check the following for us:

• In the Popup Settings tab of your form in Contact Form 7, check if “Close Popup” is unchecked.
• In the Close tab of your popup in Popup Maker, under Form Submissions, check if “Close on Form Submission” is unchecked as well.

Could you please check if the ‘’Open Popup” in your Contact Form 7s Form settings under popup settings is also not checked?

If you do decide to place a check in the “Close Popup” option under the popup settings page in your Form settings in Contact Form 7, could you please make sure there is at least a two-second delay set to it so that the message has a chance to display?

Thank you for your helpful suggestions. I have tried both options (both checked and not checked) for the ‘Open Popup’ setting in my Contact Form 7’s Form settings under popup settings, but none of them worked. I also tried to set a delay in the ‘Close Popup’ option, but it had no effect either.

I have been struggling for several days to find out why my success message is not showing up, but I have not found a solution yet.

@takayukister – the author of Contact Form 7 plugin – has completely ignored my polite request to investigate why his plugin might not be compatible with Popup Maker. I am very disappointed and frustrated by his lack of support and responsiveness.

On the other hand, I really appreciate the support you guys (Popup Maker plugin) provide me here, trying your best to find the cause of this issue. You are doing a great job and I respect and admire your professionalism and dedication. You have earned my loyalty and gratitude.

Is there anything else I can try to fix this issue? I would appreciate any further guidance or advice.

P.S. I have noticed that this issue only occurs when I use a popup from Popup Maker with a Contact Form 7 form inside it. If I use a Contact Form 7 form on a regular page (without a Popup Maker popup), the success message popup works fine. But if I use a Popup Maker popup with a Contact Form 7 form, the success message popup does not show up. It seems like there is a problem with displaying a popup over another popup in this case.

Have you tried checking for plugin/theme conflicts?

We visited your page and tried to test the form inside but for some reason, we couldn’t type or even paste anything into the form fields.

When checking the browser console, we see this error: https://share.zight.com/YEuzLL5B

Please try to deactivate other plugins except Popup Maker and Contact Form 7, switch to a default theme, and check if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, activate your other plugins one by one to see which causes the issue to appear.
