No Tags Section on my Theme

Greetings. I just started using the theme Lightbright, I really like it for my site, because it allowes me to create: Notes, Videos, Quotes, etc. like on Tumblr. The only problem is that when I use those categories it doesn’t give me the option of adding Tags to the post. The only thing that shows are Taxonomies, which I believe is irrelevant if what I want is for a search engine to find my site based on the content of a post. Thanks in advance for the help.
