• I cannot configure this plugin and there is no solution anywhere. WORDFENCE will only give support to premiums users. I would like to test first before I buy, but if I errors from the beginning, why would I buy the premium support?

    I HAVE looked and I see no one has responded to the same question on WP forum.

    WHEN I try to configure the Firewall not matter what I dot I get this message, which indiates it is not working to me.

    The changes have not yet taken effect. If you are using LiteSpeed or IIS as your web server or CGI/FastCGI interface, you may need to wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect since the configuration files are sometimes cached. You also may need to select a different server configuration in order to complete this step, but wait for a few minutes before trying. You can try refreshing this page.

    Sorry to hear you were having trouble Optimizing the Firewall. There can be a few reasons why it’s not working. It could be that your .htaccess is not writable, it could be that your hosts setup does not support .user.ini configuration files.     I have posted and receive a response from wfyann (@wfyann). It takes a bit of time to get answers.

    It looks like you have received an answer to each of your posts within a day of posting in the support forum, which is not bad for a free plugin with over 2 million users.

    Thank you all. I will not be able to use the Plug-in for any cost, as my new host WP Host does not allow it due to conflicts with their security. I was never able to configure the firewall anyway.

    Enjoy the new hosting norwood451. It makes a huge difference having a responsive and resposible host, and is well worth the extra $ for the peace of mind and improved security this brings. There are also other firewalls in the plugin repository you can try.
