• I had to revert to a previous version for the plugin to work. They do not provide assistance for this plugin should anyone encounter a problem with it as it is a free plugin. Will make a donation still as the plugin works

  • As a free plugin the developer is not obligated to provide support. Remember, you have received the plugin and it’s features completely free of charge.

As a user, that does not bode well for the developer. It would be better if at least this could be looked at. Possible paid support could be provided.

It’s great when the developer can provide support, but the lack of support does not justify a poor review.

If you could not make the plugin work, sure, that could justify a poor review, but state the problems you had as the reason for your bad review, not the lack of support.

Remember that developers of free plugins have given away their time for free with no compensation.

Thanks for providing your thoughts on a developer’s point of view. Obviously the plugin did not work properly for me, hence I asked for support on how to possibly resolve the situation. Possible directions on where to get support would have been appreciated. But being shut down all through out is a turn off. I understand where you are coming from, but the main purpose why I used the plugin is it came highly recommended. I would gladly pay for support if it is needed to make the plugin work.

One thing that helps is to link to your support requests as part of your review. That at least provides evidence of a lack of support and also shows the problems you had.

Note, I’m in no way affiliated with this plugin ??

I don’t think I could link my communication with their support as it was via email and there is no reference of the communication from their website. I think I found a way to make it work and just might change my rating. Thanks for the push and explaining the other side.

Ah, yes, I assumed you had posted on the support forums here.
