UPDATE…
I seem to have figured out what the problem was with my Darkonyx installation, I had it setup in a folder within my main WordPress site, the problem occurs because WordPress viewed this folder as a subdomain and so whenever I tried to do anything it would try to redirect to a page with my main WordPress installation.
Now I have been told that this was a .htaccess problem and that I could change this or setup subdomians (wpmu) and reinstall.
What I did do was purchase a separate domain and install Darkonyx there. the only issue so far is some type of message error where the About Player info is supposed to be.
Despite that mysql error my Darkonyx install seems to be working.
We’ll see.
I would like to note here that in the past Szymon from darkonyx had been very helpful with answering questions and getting Darkonyx working, however, the fixes did last and now NO ONE is answering any emails or support inquiries.
This has happened many times to me in the past with other software/plugins I have purchased and hoped it wouldn’t happen again.
Oh well. I still think darkonyx is a GREAT video CMS system and hopefully I will be able to get it working properly.
I will update this post in a few.
