Second that. I have been getting the same error message in two of my websites for close to a week now. Ignored it initially. I thought that reinstalling the plugin would solve the issue. Hence, yesterday, I deactivated, deleted, re-installed and re-activated the plugin. However, this morning, the error was logged again in the error log. Do note that the plugin “console” shows that backups are being taken successfully.

Would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I’m afraid that we have not been able reproduce the issue on our test site.

What remote storage service are you using (if any)? Are the backup files present in remote storage?

I’m not using any remote storage.

The backup files on the same server are intact and properly backed up. Maybe helpful in addition to my last post: I am using PHP 7.1 – could this be a factor? Although it hasn’t been before in previous versions.

It’s day for day the same error notice in the log file. Scheduled are daily database backups, and weekly complete backups.

Hi there! Thanks for responding. In my case, too, the backups are being stored locally and not remotely. The error messages are still being logged in the error log. It has been happening for more than a week now.
