    Hi,

    On my error logs im constantly getting messages like these one:

    [Wed May 28 12:18:40 2014] [warn] [client …] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/…/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/autoptimize_af4b79cdb2b9886b1680f31196e46bbb.css): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /…/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeCache.php on line 62, referer: /…/suecos-de-cuero/

    Any ideas why is that happening?

    Thanks!

    Hi gondbasaldua;
    That means that you have pages (maybe in a browser cache or in a cache plugin) that refer to autoptimized CSS or JS which is already removed from cache.

    Best would be to make sure to empty any other cache.

    Hope this helps,
    frank

    Ok great! Im using WP Super Cache so the problem should be with that.
    For how long autoptimized CSS stays on cache?
    The idea would be to put a lower time for Cache Timeout in WP Super Cache, would that help?

    Well, AO does not purge cache automatically, but only when the configuration is changed (cfr. “save changes and empty cache” button).

    Next to that I have already once or twice seen others have autoptimized files being removed by what I suppose are “cleaning” processes on the server (to keep disk space under control I guess).

    Ok got it! So I will try emptying the cache in WP Super Cache and see if the warnings stop appearing.

    Thanks a lot for your help! Great plugin.
