I found this message at the bottom of the HTML source:

<!– WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The constant WPCACHEHOME must be set in the file wp-config.php and point at the WP Super Cache plugin directory. –>

Thanks! That was the problem. May I ask why that was an issue? The caching plugin is actually not even activated and I plan on deleting it, will this be a problem?

Because the message was added to every response from the server. It was breaking the JSON response that Contact Form 7 uses for submission.

    Hi
    I really need your help.
    I try everything:
    – deactive all plugin
    – js= false
I have wp on header and footer
But I still have 2 bugs:
    1- spining without send message
    2- send to wpcf7 f1

    My website is:
    https://laqualiteam.com/contact2

    Thanks

I guess I see the same thing as yohann1b at https://www.contentreich.de/kontakt after upgrading a WordPress to 4.1 and a bunch of plugins (including Contact Form 7 which is not at 4.1). Tried disabling W3 Total Cache, but that showed no effect. The POST message looks correct, but the response seems unexpected.

Got my issue fixed. The problem was that W3 Total Cache removed the standard wordpress entries from .htaccess.

    Great
    I’ m happy for you..
I don’t have any cache plugin. I had super cache but I uninstalled it.
    I get :
Unable to get property ‘after’ of undefined or null reference after the contact form 7 script

Had the same issue. The plugin causing the issue for me was “WP Facebook Open Graph protocol”. Once disabled, the contact form worked as it should.
