edit: I’m sorry, this is in the wrong forum and I don’t know how to move it to troubleshooting!

The events page is in the main menu and when I click on it, the events page shows up like expected. But then also the submenu disappears on every main item that has one. Also the events itself. The names of the menu items stay and I can click on them, but not on a submenu item.

What can I do to solve this?

do you have sample link to your site for us to check? or try Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Disable title rewriting

I tried your suggestion but no effect. Title rewriting is now disabled

Unless I misunderstand the problem it looks like you got it fixed?

If not, which browser is it not working in?

It is not solved. I have the problem in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. As soon as i have clicked on ‘evenementen’, the submenu on ‘MKB Maat’, ‘evenementen’ and ‘Platform’ disappears. If I click on one of the other menu items, the submenu comes back.

When you set Disable title rewriting to yes, what code are you using under Event Manager titles?

If you switch to using the default theme do you still have the same problem?

no code there. Don’t now what to fill in.

But I see it’s in the child theme. The twenty fourteen theme don’t give any problems and Klein parent theme no problems. But only in the Child theme. Thanks for helping me. I will contact the developer of the theme to help me out with this.

I solved the issue by NOT using the child theme provided by the developer any more. The main theme gave no problems and with using one click child theme plugin and using that child theme, the problem is gone.

    Thanks for the support!
