Thanks Esmi….so can I put posts “into” the content of a page (then create the hierachy in menus and force the posts to conform?), so my sub menu works and it appears as I want it? I’ve managed to get the right thing from a plug called “associated posts” – where I make a page a insert posts into it (thereby getting the sub menu working) but the developer want 30 dollars and 9 dollars a month “support”?” (Dennis Huppe)….all I want is my news with a decent sub page menu like the rest of my site! Arragghh only spent 3 days on something simple!

    Hello Bizint.

Do you know how to place in a submenu. I need help putting in a submenu in the most simplist form.

    Any help?

Oh dear Steve – best to start another thread…I dont know what your olevel of expertise is (if its anything like mine 3 months ago I wish youw ell, wordpress is a minefield, but worth it eventually). I recommend watching the you tube videos – and possibly paying for a theme from Pageslines (mainly for their support forum who have been very helpful). But basically in wordpress in plugins search for and install a sub page widget plug in (hi downloads and rating usually mean its good). Activate the plug in….then in widgets, make sure your new plug in is dragged into a sidebar that appears on the pages you want it….the plug in should automatically see you page heriachy and make it relevant to the page…good luck!

Thanks bizint. Im new to wordpress but I think getting a good head start. I have 4 main problems now when using wordpress:

    rss news items
    search bars
    sub menus
    and forms.

If expertise would answer my topics, I wouldnt have to resort to asking on other topics. Im sure there busy or whatever but its been days now and no replys to any of the topics ive posted on the subjects above.

I keep trying to stick away from plugins and use wordpress’s natural own but may resort to them soon enough.

So is the sidebar important. Im not using it at all in one of my sites?

    Thanks bizint
