No Splash Screen Widget? / Social Bar Issues

    Using GoDaddy WordPress.

    1. I can’t find the widget that has the splash screen function shown in nearly every theme you guys design. What widget is it?

    2. Would like to replace icons in the social bar with my own images, not sure where to go to assign specific img to specific link in the social bar menu.

    any ideas?

    For social icons, the theme only supports font-awesome icons which we have in the theme currently. If you want to have your own custom image as icon then you’ve to modify some codes on style.css where you have to add background image as icons for social icons.

    For split screen options, we are not sure what feature you are trying to mention here. Could you possibly elaborate it more?

    Not split screen, splash screen. The giant images which are presented front page with a little text like… “skyscraper” etc. Where is the widget for that stuff?

    We guess you’re trying to mention about the ‘Latest News Widget’. So, that widget is available in our wen-business theme. Currently, we don’t have that widget in wen-corporate. So, you have to work-out some of your own custom codes for that widget by taking the reference from ‘Wen-business’ theme. Thanks!

    So you are previewing a component, a major component, almost the complete and primary purpose I chose the theme in the demo shots, and it isn’t actually a part of the package?

    That is really messed up, I thought I was just too ignorant to know how to get it to work, I waisted an hour trying to figure out how to get the component to show just like the theme preview picture.

    Could you please… please please please, make an update to the theme code and include that widget for every person who like myself sees that component in the theme preview and expects it to be included?

    Sorry for the misunderstanding. All features are included in the theme what you have seen in the demo. I am guessing that you are referring to slider as you mentioned Sky scrappers in the demo. Check following link to setup slider in the theme. Please feel free to ping us if any confusion.

    Yes finally, won’t lie this has been pretty frustrating. However we finally made it and it is much appreciated. You may want to have that feature set to default one and an explanation of how to use it embedded in there some where.
