Same here… blank page.

3 possible problems

plugin conflict
ftp to site and rename plugins
does this fix it? If so, rename plugins folder back and activate plugins one by one until you find conflict

if not working, delete .htaccess
does it work now?
either way, regenerate permalinks
admin – settings – permalinks

still not working?
may be out of php memory
add this line to your wp-config.php
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

Thanks for the concise checklist.

My problem was two-fold: first, a plugin-incompatibility prevented the template from displaying. And secondly, the theme I was using was NOT compatible with 2.8.4 (ARGH!) and now I have a default display fired up in it’s place. (Off theme-shopping I go, tra la).

It’s baffling when WP=blank screen. Thanks for providing some starting places to look at.

I see you are on a windows server
have you checked to make sure php and mysql extension are enabled?
