No Sidebar on ipad

  • Hello all,

    I tested the theme with right sidebar including a few widgets. All appears well on the computer, however the display on ipad is without the sidebar (left or right) and without any widgets.

    I tried the demo website as well but no luck on ipad. Is this a theme issue. Anyone else spotted this as well and do we have fix.

  • The reason why this is the case is so that the theme looks good on all devices. Having the sidebar in place will cause the page to bunch up on smaller devices making everything look cluttered.

    If you’re sure you still want to the sidebar to show given this risk then I can help you achieve it. Add a link to your page and we can proceed with a solutions.

    Sure, please can you post a link to your website to I can offer targeted advice.

    @afzaal1985: Please do not encourage users to edit the main theme in these situations., They should always use a child theme or a custom CSS plugin. Failure to do this will result in all of their changes being wiped out when they upgrade the theme.

    OK. I’ll add a line to any correspondence saying that the changes should be made through a child theme.
