Ok, I guess I’m having a brain lapse here. I am using the magazine basic theme (I did create a child-theme). The site layout is 1 sidebar right. I created a template of the 1 side-bar right page by copying the page.php file and renaming it to be my template. However, I would like to also create a template that has no side bars. This way I can have some pages in the site use this template so they have no sidebars (full page).

I can change the whole site to have no sidebars in the theme options but I want some pages with a sidebar and some not. I for the life of me am drawing a blank on how I do this. Is there another file in this theme I need to copy to my child theme, am I overlooking an easy step?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Since the sidebar call is in header.php and footer.php, creating a page template doesn’t really allow you to mess with the sidebars. You would have to either modify those two files to change the conditional statement OR use some CSS to hide the sidebars when you don’t want them.
