No shipping options available on checkout

    Hello, I have a Courier Guy account with login details. So I installed the plugin, activated it as a shipping option and filled in all my account login details on the settings page.

    But I just can’t get it to give me shipping options.

    Is it maybe because each product needs a size and weight to be filled in.

    We started using this plugin a few days ago and seem to have stumbled into the same problem only after orders were placed, but no shipping options were offered to the client (and they were able to complete the order without paying shipping).

    This might be a quick and dirty fix, but we quickly opted to make the “Suburb / Area” field compulsory which the plugin uses to get fees/area/options.

    Check line 472 in TCG_Plugin found in the-courier-guy\Core which will have the following:

    'required' => $required,'

    and replace with

    'required' => true,

    That temporarily worked for us till the developers of this plugin can offer alternative solutions. By the looks of it, the developers do not attend to support questions (which is a pity, would even pay for this plugin to have support)

    Hello @foxytech,

    Thank you for your response. I went into the plugin on my server and changed that line ‘required’ => true. Then I did a hard refresh and it still says no shipping options found.

    I’ve checked and rechecked all my settings. But still doesn’t work.

    I called The Courier Guy and spoke to their IT department. They said they know about it and are busy fixing it.

    This is resolved in 4.2.1. Please be aware that 4.2.x is a major update.
    If this is still not working, would you be able to share staging login details directly with us at [email protected]?

    A version of 4.1.x is available here for your production site should the above not currently be compatible in the meantime.

    I just emailed login details for my WP site. I’m still getting no shipping options for Gauteng. I only activated The Courier Guy shipping option for Gauteng to test it out.

    Hi,

    Are you able to perhaps assist me with the same issue?
    The shipping calculates but then dissapears when I go to the final checkout page.
