I am using table rate shipping along with your paypal for woocommerce.

I have certain items I don’t want shipping internationally so those items aren’t assigned a shipping class. If an item doesn’t have a shipping class, woocommerce does not allow the sale to complete. However, if a customer selects the express paypal checkout button on either the cart or the header in checkout, the customer can bypass that safety feature and can complete the order with free shipping.

    Any way to prevent this?

Have you tried setting your PayPal account to only accept payments from US accounts? You should be able to do that from within your PayPal account profile.

Most of my products do ship internationally, but a few items just can’t be shipped internationally (live plants)

    Thanks for the quick reply!

    Any other ideas?

Ok, I guess I misunderstood the issue.

One thing you could do is disable EC on the product/cart pages, but of course that’s not ideal because you lose that benefit.

I’ll add this issue to our GitHub repo so that we can get it addressed in a future update, but it may be a little bit before we’re able to get it done. Still working on final testing for the 1.1.6.3 release. I’ve added this to our 1.1.6.4 milestone.

I’m going to close this thread for now, but keep your eye out for the updates and let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Sorry I don’t have a better immediate answer.
