    My site offers some free items to its customers but wants to charge shipping. If the total price is 0, we get the ‘No shipping options were found’ message and no shipping cost is given. We tried using flat rate where we had a per item shipping cost on these products but it wasn’t accurate for longer shipping distances. All shipping is in the USA.

    Hi @tsteinh,

    The price of the product should not be an obstacle in calculating the cost of shipping. Can you please check, the details of this product and if it has a filled weight value? It is crucial in the calculation of live rates.

    The item in question has this:

    Regular price 0
    Weight: 19
    Dimensions: 20 14 19
    Shipping Class $25 and under

    If I make the price 0.01, I get a shipping charge calculated.

    Tried the same on another item that had a price and changed it’s price from $18 to $0 and it would not calculate a shipping charge. It calculates a charge if the price is $18.

    Regular Price: $18
    Weight: .6
    Dimensions: 12 5 3
    Shipping Class: $25 and under

    The shipping setting are UPS Ground only, pack into one box by weight, residential addresses. We use flat rate shipping but the $25 and under class has N/A in those settings.

    I tested the process on the UPS site and it never asks for a total price, so it does appear that price has no bearing. It calculates shipping given the weight and dimensions.

    I filled out the pre-sales form but uploading images generated a 200 error. I sent the message with the list of images and their sizes to see if that was the issue. Will wait for a reply.
