From what I can see are there no restrictions for sending messages, only read and access sent messages, why?

    Regards

Could you explain your problem in more details? Do you use another plugin to add messaging between users on your site? If so, Restrict User Access might not be fully compatible with it.

Hi Joachim, no, I only use Buddypress plugin for messaging.
To explain my issue more specific.
I have created an access level and under restrictions > Select content type, and I have chosen > BuddyPress Profiles.
In the drop down menu I can add selections like Profil, view,Edit change Profile Photo…Unread, Read, Messages, Inbox, Starred, Sent… and so on.

What I am after is a selection which restrict users from sending messages to other users. There is a selection for Read but not Send.

    Regards

This could also be a writing restriction

Currently the plugin does not support restricting messaging in BuddyPress, but it is a good idea so I have noted it down for a possible future update.

The “Tease” functionality works like this: If you have a post or a page with an excerpt, and you restrict it and then select “Tease”, only the excerpt will be displayed for unauthorized users (with the possibility to add a login form below it). On pages without an excerpt, nothing will be displayed for unauthorized users.

Thanks Joachim, that sounds great if you will take that in consideration for a future update
