No selection of variations with Wootique theme

  • Recently I’ve updated my webshop to wp 4.5 and subsequently all other plug-ins so I’m fully updated. Now suddenly all my variations do not work any more.

    Issue:
    – Dropdown lists are populated
    – But when you select a value the value “Choose an option” remains
    – But, I you select a variant and the “add to chart” the correct item is added to the chart.
    – This means the actual selection goes correct, but is not displayed

    Which plug-ins/Themes
    – WooCommerce
    – Wootique theme
    – Disabling all other plug-ins does not help to solve the issue.

    What did I do alreay
    – Re-populated all variants
    – Installed previous version of jQuery
    – Use different theme –> good result!

    When using a different team (e.g. StoreFront) population and selection goes fine. So my conclusion is that something is wrong in the Wootique theme.
    I really would like to stick to this theme. Any help for a resolution is highly appreciated
