• Using the 2016 theme, I have placed my first post. I used the continue button in the middle of my fist paragraph. After publishing and also in preview when I click n the button WordPress goes to another page with “400 Bad request”. Do I need to prepare a second page manually or is this some kind of error?

  • mpolatchek,

Is it possible you made a mistake when setting up your permalinks? That may explain this issue. Please check out the documentation here.

    Hi GrantW,
I haven’t figured it out yet, but now that you pointed it out to me it is obvious that the problem is in the permalink setup Even in the edit mode if I click on the permalink, as it is now, I go to that 400 error. Earlier, I played around with the permalink but then I thought I had reverted back to the default. Evidently not. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Like everything else it will likely take a couple of hours to crack.

    mpolatchek,

Glad I could help. For the time being, you could go to Settings → Permalinks and change it to one of the pre-configured options such as Post name just to see if that fixes the problem.

I saw your other post and got onto your website. It looks like the kind of custom structure you’re looking for is…
