No search.php page – search results empy

Hi – I just installed this plugin and indexing seems to have been successful at . But unfortunately, when I do a search I get a page that says “Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Please try again with some different keywords.”
The thing is, the indexing is okay (Documents in the index: 78, Terms in the index: 11480, Highest post ID indexed: 5621) and the user searches page says that when I search for, say, the word music, there are 26 hits even though the website itself says there are no search results.
I’m afraid that this is because my theme (Flexform) apparently doesn’t use search.php for its search results. Instead, there is a page called searchform.php, on which there is no mention of the query_posts() issue mentioned in your knowledge base. The url string after a search is https://library.curtis.edu/?s=music.
Any thoughts?
