I’m working with cpt ui and when using custom posts I involved the taxonomies (categories and tags) of the core. Up to Rel. 1.2 of Poseidon searching with the taxonomies worked properly. Since I updated to Rel. 1.4.1 there aren’t any search results when filling in one of my categories.
The taxonomies of the core are active in the cpt ui-Plugin.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using Poseidon.

I don’t think this issue has something to do with the theme. The search functionality was not changed with the latest updates of Poseidon.

In addition, the theme handles the design of the search results page and the search form, but does not change the search results.

The theme just gets a list of search results (WordPress main query) which is displayed.

I recommend to look at other plugins or your implemention of the CPT about this issue.

    Best,
    Thomas

Please also note that the default search of WordPress does not cover custom post types and custom taxonomies. You need extra code to include these in the search results.

If they are missing you have to check your code, it is not anything the theme controls.
