No search result for custom field on custom post type

    Hi,

    I really like your plugin (I have the lite version), but I have one issue with it: I don’t get any search results when I search with a project number.

    I created a website with a lot of projects and I use a portfolio plugin for this, that comes with it’s own post type. For this custom post type I also created a custom text field ‘project number’, that is filled with a number (as text). This project number is also in the post slug of each project.

    The search field works fine when I search with text (something in the title or post content), but not when I search with a project number. I want to find projects both with a search word and with the project number. What can I do to make this work?

    Hi,

    Make sure that the project number custom field (or search in all custom fields) is selected under the General Options -> Sources panel: https://i.imgur.com/nwdXVD4.png

    Hi,

    Thanks, I guess I just missed this part of the plugin; turns out that enabling search in the permalink was enough, since I included the project number in the post slug of each post.
