No Sales Tax being added

  • Hi there!

    I’ve got the Woocommerce store installed on the site (which is in maintenance mode at the moment until I work out the tax issue). Also have the TaxJar plugin installed and settings in, API in, and synced Nexus which detected the location. However no sales tax is being applied at all. Can someone point me in a direction as to what the problem might be? Unless NC is a state that they don’t need to collect sales tax for online items.

    Thanks for your patience here in our response. I am wondering if the location you are shipping to is a location that is not a nexus location? You only need to calculate tax when you are shipping to a state in which you have nexus so that is when we would calculate tax for your store.
