No s in Twentytwelve?

  • Been working on a site in Twentytwelve and discovered that Twentytwelve will only display <hr>s ABOVE the first inline <div>. You can apparently have as many as you want above, but after the first custom <div> statement on the page, <hr> statements are apparently no longer recognized.

    They recognized in some tags, however. FI,

    <nav id="site-navigation" class="main-navigation" role="navigation">

    contains two <hr>s.

    Horizontal rules are a useful basic tool in page composition. How can I use <hr>s in posts and pages in Twentytwelve? Thanks for your help…
