No RSS items found after last update

I’ve tested both URLs and they seem to be working with our plugin. Can you post your shortcode and what version your running of WP and RSS Retriever?

Yes of course. Thats it:

WP version: 4.9.10

RSS Retriever version: 1.5.2

Version 1.5.2 still breaks for me. On my staging site I still get:

RSS ERROR – No RSS items found with URL: https://www.staging2.blackjackreview.com/wp/feed/

The plug-in does seem to work for all of my “external” feeds. Only my own internal feed is having problems.

I have attempted to delete and reinstall the plugin with no luck. I am sticking to 1.3.1 until this is resolved. I have the latest WP install 5.2.2 and use the Twenty-Fourteen theme 2.7.

This is how I use the feed retriever:

[wp_rss_retriever url=”https://www.blackjackreview.com/wp/feed/” items=”20″ excerpt=”50″ read_more=”true” new_window=”false” dofollow=”true” thumbnail=”120″ cache=”3600″]

This works for version 1.3.1 on my site. It breaks with version 1.5.x.

@bjrnet21 The URL https://www.staging2.blackjackreview.com/wp/feed/ is blocking outside requests. You’re saying version 1.3.1 works in this case?

@mrsorpresa Let me know if the older version works for you. If so, we need to investigate why the latest version is not, as the latest version is much better performance-wise.

Arrrggg…. my bad. You are right about the staging site blocking outside requests.

I just retried version 1.5.2 on my live site and it appears to work fine again.

All is good again.

I am having the same issue since 1.5.2 for my feed https://feeds.feedburner.com/canada/DGRO. i am getting
RSS ERROR – No RSS items found with URL: https://feeds.feedburner.com/canada/DGRO

@akingbenga You need to add “?format=xml” to the URL for it to work:

https://feeds.feedburner.com/canada/DGRO?format=xml

Travis ( @tjtaylor ) yes it is, the Versión 1.4.3 works fine in my website.
