No RSS Feeds are importing

    Hi,

    I′m struggling with the plugin to get it to work with my hosting provider WP Engine.
    I have:
    – A clean WordPress installation
    – The default WordPress theme (Twenty Seventeen) (Tried others themes also)
    – No other plugins then “Advanced feeds bundle” (Core WP RSS Feed Aggregator, Feed to Post, Keyword Filtering, Full Text RSS Feeds)
    – Tried all the things on list on https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/category/80-feed-items-or-posts-not-importing
    – The hosting company WP Engine have tried to help with clearing cache, checking errors and CRON jobs.
    – I′ve tried 10+ difference feed sources
    – I′ve tried with the default settings
    – I′m using Core + Feed to Post plugin.
    – The importing works on my localhost environment but not on hosting environment WP Engine.

    The “Feed Preview” inside feed source shows the feed but when I start to import the two arrows on the right side are just spinning and nothing gets imported.

    I′ve send a support message to the plugin devs but it takes very long time to get answers…

    Maybe it has something to do with permission when creating posts but I′m not sure.

    Anyone have had any similar problems??

  • I don’t if this is your issue — but I had the same thing going on, and it took me months to figure out. For me, it was the path to the SSL certificate — which you can see in the settings for WPRSS. I had been told that no one ever changed it — even says that in the documentation — but that was the fix for us.

    If you find that your http feeds work, and the https ones don’t — and the WPRSS debug log says anything about curl errors and such, this could be it.
